Join us for an expert panel discussion to address your questions and concerns about these critical issues for our country, community, and natural environment. 
                   

Mayoral candidate, Kaye Gartner, will be launching the Shoalhaven Greens’ Renewable Energy Policy for 2024 at the event.

THE EXPERT PANEL
Kaye Gartner – Mayoral Candidate and former councillor. In her previous term on Council Kaye worked to introduce a Renewable Energy policy and get a 3MW solar farm built in the Shoalhaven.  

David Shoebridge – Senator and a member of the Australian Greens. Maintaining a nuclear-free Australia is a central policy of his political advocacy and leadership. 
 
Helen Caldicott – physician, author, and anti-nuclear advocate. She has founded several associations dedicated to opposing the use of nuclear power, nuclear weapons and military action in general.
 
Bob Hayward – locally based engineer and risk management expert. He is a champion of the Electrify Everything initiative and is renowned for his data driven, incisive and powerful presentations.
 
Refreshments will be served after the panel discussion, where you can chat further with our panellists. All Greens candidates for the upcoming election will be there to answer more of your questions
 
All proceeds from the event will go towards the Shoalhaven Greens’ 2024 Local Government Election campaign.
