Strategies for a climate-changing world.
You’re invited to “Arts. Activism. Adaptation.” – a special Shoalhaven Greens campaign fundraiser in Nowra with Mayor Amanda Findley, your Shoalhaven Greens Candidates and five thought-provoking guest speakers.
Meet Indigenous cultural consultant Lynne Thomas, academic Danielle Celermajer, world renowned singer-songwriter Lenka, activist and musician Tim Hollo, artist Janet Laurence, and climate change researcher Will Steffen as they share their strategies for a climate-changing world.
The Shoalhaven Greens are privileged to have speakers with such expansive, creative minds share with us their knowledge, experience and ways of responding to the question: “How do we usefully meet the psychological and practical challenges of our increasingly turbulent, climate-changing world?”
Covering a broad range of expertise from Indigenous knowledge and culture, fine arts, music making, environmental activism, climate science, community engagement and activation and more, this afternoon event is a rare chance to benefit from the diverse perspectives of these bright artists, thinkers, activists and advocates responding to our climate-changing world.
