Community information hubs are a go

Mayor Amanda Findley recently helped to launch the Shoalhaven’s Community Information Hubs, as part of the recovery to resilience project.

26 hubs are being located across the Shoalhaven to provide much needed information during good and bad times after information and communications shortcomings were highlighted during the Currowan bushfire.

The photo also highlights the new, clearer, fire danger rating system.

Moderate (Green) – Plan and prepare

High (Yellow) – Be ready to act

Extreme (Orange) – Take action now to protect life ad property

Catastrophic (Red) – For your survival, leave bush fire risk areas
